Bubbles, standing at only 14.3hh, entered our breeding programme by accident. We had an aged mare we had been trying to put in foal to Regardless R but unfortunately she proved to be passed her breeding days, so we used the service fee on Bubbles and produced one of the nicest horses we have bred to date, Belrieve Squeak. Squeak was sold to a junior rider who successfully competed him in 2* eventing, 1.20 m Showjumping and PSG Dressage with multiple wins. Since then Bubbles has continued to produce some beautiful moving and jumping horses all with adequate size.

Bubbles is the last mare of Phil’s Berievevale Australian Stock Horse stud, she is the one that he wouldn’t part with, his pet. When Phil got the bug for jumping horses, Bubbles was his first eventing mount where she successfully competed at Eva80 before becoming a brood mare. She has a heart of a lion, with her quirky personality. As an 18 yo mare she still gallops randomly around the paddock by herself without the rest of the herd and is always the first there when called.

Bubbles is by Beauleigh Champagne D’or who was a palamino stallion owned by Philip in his ASH stud. Although ASH, he had plenty of TB blood, which attributes to the size that is thrown in Bubbles progeny. Claredale Champagne Charlie was a successful horse in the coloured show ring. Bubbles is out of Balfron Candee, who was a susccessful polocross and campdraft mare. Candee produced other stock horse progeny for Phil that were excellent types and had a stoic personality, which made them incredible work horses. The versatility of ASH in Bubbles’ breeding makes it no wonder she is producing wonderful horses by WB sires. Excellent types with the looks, talented, and can be ridden by most riders.
