Portrait is a classy type of filly that is gentle to handle, has correct conformation and straight movement. We have started to free jump her and she is showing a willing attitude and a careful technique

Portrait is out of our broodmare Feldale Silhouette who is a full sister to Feldale Short Black that is a successful eventer and is ready to step up to 3* with Oliver Barrett in 2025. Silhouette is by Feldale Regardless R (Regardez Moi) out of a Staccato mare. Staccato was a very successful eventing sire being ranked No. 1 in the world for several years and siring winners of Adelaide 5* (then 4*)

Portrait’s sire Spectre D is an approved AWHA stallion awarded a 9 for his jumping ability. In 2023 he stepped up to Futurity classes (1.25-1.40m) winning at Tamworth World Cup Show and getting a 3rd place in the second qualifying round at the Australian Championships.  Spectre's dam Fairbanks Lulu is a favourite amongst the Australian Showjumping community. Having successfully competed at World Cup level for several seasons she was sold on to a junior rider and has been a reliable and trustworthy teacher.
